Accessibility

This site should work for every visitor. Below is what it does for you already, plus the quickest way to flag anything that doesn't.

The reading-options button

Look for the floating button in the bottom-left of any page. It opens a small panel of reading options; whatever you switch on stays on for your next visit from the same device, across the whole site, until you switch it off again.

  • Larger text: bump the entire site up a size or two.
  • High contrast: stronger text and link colours.
  • Underline links: every link gains an underline.
  • Readable font: a plainer typeface with extra letter spacing.
  • Pause motion: halts animation site-wide.
  • Highlight focus: a bold ring tracks the keyboard as you tab around.

Reset wipes every option in one press. The panel works entirely by keyboard and calls no outside services.

Built-in from the start

The site is designed toward WCAG 2.1 level AA (no formal audit claimed):

  • A reduced-motion setting on your device is respected automatically, no toolbar needed.
  • Colour pairings are picked for contrast, and the high-contrast option layers on top.
  • Phone, tablet and desktop layouts all keep content reachable, nothing trapped off-screen.
  • Photos that carry meaning have alt text; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
  • Headings and landmarks are structured so assistive tech can navigate in order.
  • Tab order follows the page and the focused element is always visible.
